Statutes and regulations of the Federation
The FFPLUM is under the dual supervision of two ministries
That of the Minister for Sport.
The Sports Code, created at the legislature's initiative (article 84 of law no. 2004-1343 of 9 December 2004 on simplifying the law), incorporates, among other things, law no. 84-610 of 16 July 1984 on the organisation and promotion of physical and sporting activities, sets the regulatory framework, and defines the notion of the "Public Sports Service".

The FFPLUM is approved by the Ministry of Sport and holds a public service delegation
That of the Minister responsible for Transport, through its link with the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).
In France, the Directorate General for Civil Aviation plays a central role: service provider, regulatory authority and partner to businesses, it is above all the guarantor of the safety of French air transport. To serve the sector better, at the end of 1998 the DGAC launched a strategic plan built around five priorities: strengthening European and international action, improving safety and security, respecting the environment, the quality of service to partners and users, and modernising its internal ways of working.
Our ultralight activity is fully included in this action.
