Newsletter intro 42

On Saturday 27 April, Fabrice Depardieu and Georges Humeau opened the second instructors' forum organised by the Grand Est Regional Committee.

This 2024 edition brought together about forty participants.

Instructors were able to invite their club presidents, which allowed some very interesting exchanges.

For the occasion, the federation's president, Sébastien Perrot, and its vice-president, Christian Santini, had made the journey. Our elected officials were able to clarify many subjects such as the OPS, the 600 kg limit, the federal instructor scheme and the reform of instructor training, and they took part in the question-and-answer session.

The talks by representatives of the BGTA and the Gendarmerie de l'air were particularly appreciated, and the high-quality facilitation by Pascal Kremer, who works with EASA and NASA, ensured that the discussions were lively and constructive.

The place of sport in our activity was presented perfectly by our National Technical Director, Mohamed Azzouni, who had also made the journey.

For everyone's enjoyment, the Regional Committee invited all the participants to a generous cold buffet of quality local produce.

These different moments allowed fruitful exchanges and were unanimously appreciated. All the participants enthusiastically endorsed the event and arranged to meet again in 2025.
